UGRAD 2025 - An Exciting Opportunity for Sophomores
USEFP has recently announced UGRAD 2025, a fully funded exchange program in which students from all over Pakistan would be selected for an opportunity to spend an entire semester in a university in the United States of America. A semester in a U.S. university would not only help broaden the academic exposure of students but at the same time, enable them to learn more about social responsibility and community engagement. It is also an excellent opportunity for you to network with people from all over Pakistan and across the globe.

The deadline for this specific program's application is September 25, 2024. However, it is advised that you apply at your earliest, in order to avoid any last-minute issues.
Important Note:
Should I be applying through IBA?
No, this application must be completed independently by the candidate. It is a pretty straightforward application, which needs to be filled out by making an account on the following link: Login - USEFP
Where can I get my transcript from?
You will find your transcript via your ERP Portal (Oracle), from Query Report Viewer (where fees vouchers are downloaded, and attendances are recorded). Get a print of this unofficial transcript and get it attested by any gazetted government officer.
Will be credits be transferred?
There is no guarantee that every single credit hour of your courses at UGRAD will be transferred. However, if you choose courses that are in line with IBA course outlines and if these course outlines are approved by the respective chairpersons/focal persons from each school and the Academic Board according to HEC standards and guidelines, Transfer of credits will be applicable to those courses with 'B' or above grades.
The course credits can be transferred. However, your CGPA will be frozen for that specific semester (which means that the GPA of the semester you spend on UGRAD will not be added to your CGPA.
Shortlisted students have to make sure to get approval before selecting courses at the host university.
Important Announcement:
Students of SBS school applying for UGRAD 2024 must opt for universities having AACSB accreditation for the semester exchange program. If the university doesn't have the AACSB accreditation, then the credit hours wouldn't be transferred to their transcript.
