Delightful Istanbul Summer School
Dear students,
We are pleased to inform you that the program ‘Delightful Istanbul Summer School 2022’ (IAU) is now open and admissions have started. IAU’s famous summer school continues to welcome students from all over the world for longer than a decade by now. Delightful Istanbul Summer School takes place between 24th of July and 6th of August in the summer of 2022.
Both Delightful Summer and Winter Schools offer specially designed rich courses, such as Brand Management, Current Issues in International Relations, Genetics and Medical Biotechnology, Exploration of Turkish Art via Museums, Multi Criteria Decision Making. Students selects one course that matches their field of study and interest and earns 3 to 4 ECTS.
Delightful Istanbul Summer School combines courses, lab hours, workshops together with a rich cultural tours. Old city tour, famous Hagia Sophia- Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque and a full day Bosphorus Boat Tour are included in the program. Students can also join to the optional sightseeing trips and dinners throughout the entire program.

The program will be taking place face to face in Istanbul between 24th of July and 6th of August, 2022.
Social Activity Program:
Delightful Istanbul Summer School comes with a rich social activities program that enables students to discover nearly all attractions of the city while they continue their studies.
Fees:
Program fee is 750 USD. Early bird registration fee is 650 USD (Until the 15th of May). Fee includes; 50 hours of class tuition, course materials, bed and breakfast accommodation in a superior hostel for 14 nights, two weekend tours, program amenities and other surprises.

Requirements:
The program is open to all international students from two year programs to post graduate programs.

FAQs
Do you offer scholarships?
Yes, the scholarship scheme is coordinated with your home university. 1 full scholarship is offered for every 10 students enrolling from the same university. Your home university’s international office makes chooses the student who gets the scholarship. We do not accept individual scholarship applications of students.
Do I need to provide an English-level certificate?
No. We recommend a B2 level of English for our students, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, but we don’t require any proof of your English level. Therefore, you don’t need to take any tests or provide any documentation on this.
Can I choose different accommodation, or can I stay with a friend in Istanbul?
Yes, however we do not recommend that for two reasons. First of all we pick the best student residences for our delight fullers, they are certified by IAU. Secondly they are located within walking distance from the university. Finally it is much more fun to stay at the same place with all the other delight fullers.
Can master students enroll in the Delightful Istanbul Summer School?
Yes, some of our courses are intended for both undergraduate and post graduate students.
I’m studying the first year of my Bachelor’s degree. Can I apply to the Delightful Istanbul Summer School?
Yes, you can apply, but check the specific requirements for each course in the Academic Guide and Syllabus to make an appropriate selection of courses.
Will you provide help with practical matters or problems when I’m in Istanbul?
Yes, for these issues you can always request advice or help from our Short Term Study Programs Office. Before your arrival you will be receiving an info pack, in which all emergency phone numbers, program coordinators contact details, dormitory emergency lines are stated. Moreover, there are always IAU’s Delightful Summer School crew around you throughout the entire program.
Where do most Delightful Istanbul students come from?
We have had students coming literally from all around the world. From Mexico to Australia, and from USA to South Korea more than 50 different nationalities and over 100 universities.
