Algoma University Youth Leadership Summer Program 2023
Algoma University is inviting university students from partner institutions around the world to join its Youth Leadership Summer Program. Students will travel to Canada for three weeks in July and August for a unique cultural experience.
The Program will provide unique cultural experiences in the great Canadian outdoors as well as spend in-classroom time building leadership skills. In this academic-styled leadership course, students will gain cultural competency, learn to navigate studying abroad, and develop university learning strategies. In addition, participants will experience Canadian cuisine, scenic locations, and make new friends.
There are two options for the program for university students:

b) July 8 - 29, 2023
2) Youth Leadership Summer Program (Academic Track): In this option, students will complete an introductory level academic course in Community Economic and Social Development in weeks 1-2, followed by the Youth Leadership Summer Program in weeks 3-5. The 3-credit academic course (Intro to Community Economic and Social Development I) will be delivered in a community-based format, with students learning hands-on with local organizations, communities, and not-for-profits.
