The IBA Boys' Hostel Society (2014-15) organized a recreational trip to Dreamworld Resort, Karachi on 18th December 2014. This was a dual purpose initiative taken to (literally) create a small splash in the monotonous lives of the residents as well as to acquaint them with the multi-billion Dollar Entertainment Industry which includes resorts and clubs worldwide. The students were provided access to a wide range of activities like Desert Safari, Go-Karting, Boating, Bowling and Cricket. Especially important were the activities like Archery and Horse Riding which are considered to be classic and timeless pastimes that help in building personality and discipline.

Accommodation in the form of Cabanas was arranged to give the whole event an adventurous touch and a bon fire was lit to promote community spirit and inculcate Esprit de corps. The crackling of the burning wood in the bon fire combined with music made for a truly memorable night. The students enjoyed and learnt a great deal from the event and the Hostel Committee achieved its goal of creating an enriching environment for the residents.
