IBA Accountants' Summit 2.0 was a thrilling two-day accountant's conference that took place on the 18th and 19th of February 2023. The event welcomed enthusiastic students from various colleges and universities who were eager to participate.

The conference commenced on Saturday at 8:30 am and continued until 4:30 pm. The participants engaged in the first round called "Kill the Demons," which tested their knowledge in commerce-related subjects such as business, economics, and accounting through a series of multiple-choice questions.

The second round, known as "The Exit Strategy," immersed the participants in an exciting scavenger hunt/treasure hunt. Each group was assigned a closed room with a financial statement, where they had to uncover missing information by deciphering clues hidden throughout the room. On Sunday, the conference resumed at 8:30 am and extended until 6:00 pm.

The third challenge called "Bring to Life" commenced. Inspired by the popular television show "Shark Tank," each group was required to develop a unique product or business idea and present it to a panel of judges in a compelling pitch. Following this exhilarating round. The fourth and final round, "The Master Key," incorporated another scavenger hunt-style experience. However, this time, the clues were physically placed throughout the campus. For instance, if the financial statement lacked information about the value of chairs, chairs with their corresponding prices written on pieces of paper were strategically hidden. Teams had to locate these clues, calculate the total value, and fill in the missing information.

In addition to the exciting rounds, the conference featured speaker sessions with esteemed guests from prominent companies such as Nestle, HBL, and PWC. These industry professionals shared their invaluable real-life experiences, offering valuable insights to guide the participants' career paths.

To conclude the event on a high note, a grand social event was organized, featuring a comedy night with the renowned comedian Akbar Chaudhry. Laughter filled the air as attendees enjoyed a night of humor and entertainment. Overall, the IBA Accountants' Summit 2.0 provided a platform for students to showcase their skills, learn from industry experts, and network with their peers. It was a memorable conference that left participants inspired and motivated as they embarked on their journey towards becoming successful accountants.
