On 29th October, the Computer Science Society successfully hosted its launch event, “Hello World”, kicking off the new academic year with energy and enthusiasm. The Office of Student Affairs is pleased to acknowledge the society’s efforts in creating an engaging and interactive experience for the student body. 

The event featured a range of game stalls, incentives, and engaging activities that drew strong participation from students. We also appreciate the involvement of RoboWhiz as the robotics partner, and Arcana and Tafsol as tech collaborators, who contributed to creating valuable learning opportunities for attendees. 

Students actively participated in one-on-one Robo Soccer matches, as well as competitive rounds of Tekken and FIFA, which maintained a lively atmosphere throughout the event. A competitive programming round with two distinct tracks further added an intellectually stimulating element, allowing teams to test their skills and compete for top positions. 

To enhance the overall experience, the event included polaroid photo captures, along with a dedicated food area offering coffee and brownies, adding to the comfort and enjoyment of participants.
