BA Marketing Club Launches “Aaj Ki Shaam, Chai K Naam”

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is pleased to highlight the successful launch event of the IBA Marketing Club, titled “Aaj Ki Shaam, Chai K Naam,” a creative celebration of Pakistan’s national drink and the culture and strategy connected to it.

 The event drew 200+ students, creating an energetic atmosphere as participants explored how a simple cup of tea shapes conversations, business decisions, and everyday life across Pakistan. 

Two major industry leaders joined the session as guest speakers:
Mr. Abdul Nafay Khan from Lipton and Mr. Mushahid Mushtaq from Tapal, with the discussion moderated by Sir Atif Murtaza

The talk centered on strategic placement—how leading brands position themselves in a competitive market—offering students exclusive insights into branding and consumer behavior. The speakers also reflected on Pakistan’s deeply rooted Chai Culture, highlighting how tea connects people from dhabas to corporate offices.

The event marked a strong beginning for the Marketing Club, showcasing their ability to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences. OSA congratulates the club on an impactful launch and looks forward to more initiatives that enrich the student community.
