The IBA Public Speaking Society participated at the Model United Nations Turkey (MUNTR) which was organized between 2-6 March, in Antalya, Turkey. MUNTR 2015 was the 11th session of the conference which consisted of more than 750 participants from more than 20 countries, and over 67 universities. IBA PSS sent a delegation of 9 students to this conference, and bagged 6 awards:

3. Munira Ahmed – Outstanding Delegate Award
4. Javeria Pettiwala – Outstanding Delegate Award
5. Raviya Mysorewala – Honorable Mention
6. Khadija Furqan – Honorable Mention.

9. Ali Shambeel Jafri

IBA's delegation to MUNTR 2015 was ranked 3rd amongst all the delegations. IBA PSS is incredibly proud of the PSS Treasurer, Maleeha Khan, who was the only Pakistani chair selected to chair the biggest committee, DISEC, at Model United Nation Turkey 2015. She was selected after a vigorous selection from candidates who applied from all over the world.

The Manager of the Public Speaking Society, Nabeel Shaikh, accompanied the team as an advisor and trained them personally over the course of past two months. In addition to this, he held meetings with Nezahat Yasim-the Secretary General, Berool Hussain, Victor Drujinin, Head of European Debating Circuit and various other faculty advisors in order to get international participation for the 7th edition of Model United Nation IBA Karachi.

Furthermore, IBA PSS shall be sending another delegation of 10 students to EuroMUN 2015, which is the largest Model United Nations Conference in continental Europe, from April 29th till May 3rd.
