Cassandra de Pecol, a woman on her ground breaking journey to
196 countries for global peace and sustainable tourism,
conducted the session "60 Minutes with Cassie D. Pecol" hosted
by The IBA Marketing Club (IMC) on Wednesday, December 12th 2016
at IBA Main Campus, Karachi. Cassie's session marked Pakistan as
her 192nd country, and took the audience on her journey of a
dream turned reality. Her talk also touched upon the essence of
Travel and the Empowerment it brings with it, especially for
women.
Currently serving as the chief explorer of Expedition 196, a
global citizen and an IIPT Peace Ambassador, Cassie is on a
mission to set the Guinness World Record and spread peace
through sustainable tourism. During the session, Ms. Pecol
started off with her dream to set a record and travel around the
globe, followed by all the challenges that she had to face in
regard to sponsors and the practicality of her journey. However,
Cassie's perseverance and determination to succeed allowed her
to get through every obstacle that came her way.
Ms. Pecol explained the significance of viewing her mission from
a social perspective as well. In order to have a sustainable and
positive contribution to the countries she visits, Cassie tries
to plant trees wherever it is possible. With a rooted aim of
global peace, sustainable tourism and empowerment, Cassie shared
her experiences from different nations and cultures. She took
the audience down the memory lane of her journey of 'Dream.

simultaneously sharing the enlightening interactions and
experiences she had during her journey.
These interactive 60 minutes with Cassie de Pecol came to an end
with an interesting question and answer session, followed by
refreshments, where the audience got a chance to socialize with
Cassie and her team of Expedition 196.
The IBA Marketing Club, through this session, provided a
platform to the Youth of Karachi to play their part in
Pakistan's contribution to an international mission. IMC wishes
the best for Ms. Cassandra de Pecol in her Expedition 196.
