Office of Student Affairs organized a vibrant Saqafat Kay Rang event

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at the IBA Karachi, in collaboration with OSA Committees and IBA Student Government organized a vibrant cultural carnival, “Saqafat Kay Rung” to celebrate diversity at IBA Karachi, paying homage to the diverse and rich culture of the provinces of Pakistan. The event brought together vibrant traditions, cultural performances, arts, flavours, and exciting activities from every province and culture, showcasing the rich heritage of our community.

Five cultural pavilions including Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit- Baltistan were designed in their cultural themes to provide a platform for IBA students, faculty, and staff to display their culture. The Saqafati Bazaar offered traditional food items and provincial handicrafts and products that were exhibited and available for the people to purchase and enjoy.

Balo Baloch, Jimmy Sanam, Shams Rubabi, and Babar Mangi along with other artists entertained the audience with traditional music. The IBA community also enjoyed Hareep-Tamasha – a traditional dance performance from Gilgit Baltistan.

The event was an overwhelming success with a huge turnout of 3000+ people who enjoyed the food and festivities. Saqafat Kay Rug concluded with a message to promote harmony and diversity at the IBA Karachi.
