NOWInclusive Tour

November 26, 2024: A group of IBA students along with the ODAI team recently had the opportunity to visit NOWPDP, an organization dedicated to empowering PWDs and advocating for inclusive workplaces. 

During their time at NOWPDP, students understood the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and the importance of creating inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. 

Students not only enjoyed their visit but were also moved by the impactful work being done at NOWPDP. They got a chance to meet PWDs employed by the organization, allowing them to live an independent and respectful life. They learned valuable lessons about empathy, diversity, and the power of inclusion. 

This visit served as a reminder of the transformative impact that small acts of kindness and understanding can have on the lives of others. 

ODAI received very positive feedback from students and plans to include such visits in its event calendar for the year 2025. The office also plans to collaborate with NOWPDP in future and work together on different awareness sessions and student volunteering programs.
