IBA  x NOWPDP – MoU Signing Ceremony

The IBA Karachi, through its Office of Diversity, Accessibility & Inclusion (ODAI), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NOWPDP — a leading organization dedicated to the inclusion and empowerment of persons with disabilities (PWDs). 

Under this partnership, IBA and NOWPDP will collaborate to promote accessibility, build capacity, and create learning and development opportunities for students and stakeholders. The scope of the agreement includes awareness campaigns, training sessions, accessibility initiatives, joint programs, and strategic collaborations to foster an inclusive campus environment.

The MoU was formalized by Executive Director, Dr. S. Akbar Zaidi, and Dean Student Affairs, Ms. Maheen Ghauri. From NOWPDP, President Mr. Amin Hashwani and CEO Mr. Omair Ahmed graced the occasion, reflecting the shared commitment to driving meaningful social impact. 

Speaking at the ceremony, the leadership emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional partnerships to build a more inclusive and accessible future. This collaboration marks a significant step toward ensuring equal opportunities, representation, and support for persons with disabilities within the IBA community.

The Office of Diversity, Accessibility & Inclusion looks forward to working closely with NOWPDP to introduce impactful initiatives that empower individuals and contribute to a more inclusive society.
