Dec 26 2019 - Jan 4, 2020: North will Remember - Graduation trip

A small group of students took the risk of hopping aboard to the Northern Areas of Pakistan with the newly revived Adventure Club. The trip of 15 students was led by the Patron, Mr. Rafay Sohail and accompanied by CFO, Ahmed Jaliawala and two other ECs, Mashhood and Sakina. We took off on December 26th, 2019 for Islamabad. We were able to visit numerous places like Siri Paye Meadows, Balakot, Darya-e-Swat, Malam Jabba, Kalam and Khanpur Dam. We started from a heavy trek of two to three hours at Siri Paye base and ended the trip with Parasailing at Khanpur Dam during sunset.

Luckily for adventure club all students who came along had the zest for travelling. We explored beyond our itinerary and endeavoured some great local meals while we were at it. This expedition of 10 days was completed with star gazing, freezing cold weather and some hot cocoas at night. We all were awestruck during our chair lift rides at Malam Jabba; trying to soak in the beautiful views of His creation. The long bus rides were rarely an issue as we spoke and discussed our goals and dreams with Sir Rafay on the breathtaking roads of Swat and Shogran. Every individual who participated in this winter trip took something away from this short adventure, and we as a club are proud to have made memories with such wholesome people.

Pakistan's beauty is no less than the sights of Switzerland.
