IBA Career Fair 2020, hosted by IBA Alumni & Placement society in collaboration with IBA Career Development Centre (CDC) took place on Wednesday, 12th February 2020. A daylong event, this year IBA Career Fair partnered with whopping 120 companies, ranging from popular FMCGs and banks to pharmaceutical companies and startups, along with a Career Counseling Clinic consisting of over 40 consultants from various industries. As envisioned, IBA Career Fair'20 successfully managed to connect companies with over 3500 IBA students. Companies connected with the students by promoting their internship and graduate trainee programs. Additionally, the companies also conducted on spot interviews. The revised Career Counseling Clinic catered students with one-on-one counselling sessions with experienced consultants, where the students were able to share their resumes for the consultants' remarks. Not only that, the students cleared their queries and misconceptions about various industries in Pakistan. IBA Career Fair'20 also facilitated over 400 corporate executives with whom students connected and discussed their career paths. Several lucky students won travelling tickets to various destinations sponsored by the travelling partners of the event, Aviate Travels. This year, IBA Career Fair'20 set a benchmark of partnership with 126 companies for the upcoming job fairs at IBA.
