The IBA Human Resources Club (IHRC) yearns to inspire students by supporting and endorsing the best practices in the field of human resources. To accomplish this goal, the club hosts various events centralized around the diverse themes of HR
IHRC hosted the fourth version of its flagship event Insight from February 7 th to February 9th , 2020 at the IBA main campus. It was a three day competition-centric HR simulation, aimed at bridging the gap between the academic and professional worlds of Human Resources.
Various interaction-based activities comprising of competitions, quizzes and case scenarios were designed to enrich students with a high repertoire of skills. For an out and out exposure, the second day of Insight was laid out in collaboration with the Leadership Club Pakistan, while the camping activity was facilitated by Amwaj Streaming Human Development. Experienced mentors and professional HR personnels like Dr. Arif Pyarali, Samad Abbas and Rizwan Choudhry hosted information sessions on all three days providing participants with an ample learning experience as well as a head start in their graduate careers. Esteemed judges including Mr. Azeem Azhar, Mr. Salman Zulfqar, Miss Ayesha Saleem, and Miss Sadaf Hanif were also present to not only encourage participants but also to evaluate their contribution giving them an edge to explore their talents.
The closing and prize distribution ceremony marked an end to the third day of Insight. The winning team was awarded a fully sponsored Pakistan Tour in collaboration with IHRC's official travel partner, Rauf Travels Club. The runner up teams were given exclusive internship slots at Silk Bank, 360 Digital Eyes, 360 Social Eyes and Information Consultant Pakistan.
A Qawwali Night was organized to mark the closure of Insight 4.0 on a mystical note where the very well renowned Faraz and Faisal Sabri brothers were invited to perform.
Along with manifold learning and networking opportunities, Insight 4.0 successfully provided a forum to more than 300 students from various educational institutes around the city to outlet their creative business endeavors and practically implement their critical and strategic thinking skills. With the knee-deep efforts of the organizing team and their spirit to not settle for anything less, the club successfully accomplished its goal of working as a channel between the safe harbor of traditional classroom teaching and the more chaotic and complex world of managerial practice
The IBA Human Resources Club was pleased to have a profusely positive response from its attendees and further hopes to carry this legacy of success and innovation beyond this new benchmark
