The session conducted on Monday; 21st October 2019 comprised of a detailed introduction into the "The Fundamentals of Islamic Finance".

The purpose of this session was to spread awareness regarding Islamic Finance amongst the students of IBA. The session covered various subtopics within Islamic Finance as listed below.

• The ethics Islamic Banks conform to.
• How Islamic Finance prohibits uncertainty in contracts.
• Islamic Financing is Asset Based.
• Different types of contract in Islamic Financing.
• What is Rate of Return risk? And how it undertaken by Islamic Banks.

Our faculty member, Sir Nouman Amin gave us this opportunity. Shaharyar Mallick, a final semester student, conducted the session.
