Syria Project was the first international project conducted by IBA Community Welfare Society. The society collaborated with Khubaib Foundation to travel across the Turkish border. The purpose was to deliver the basic essentials such as rations, blankets, and sweaters to the struggling refugees. The team consisted of five members who traveled Reyhanli, Kilis, Sanliurfa and Istanbul. The members also managed to meet the Advisor to the Prime Minister, Dr. Umeer Farooq Korkmaz, to discuss how education is a building block of the society and educational reform is required to bring about a positive change.
