After an exhausting period of preparation by the host team and the cast, Shab-e-Faraq came to an unforgettable end. With the core objective of Justuju-e-Adab, The IBA Literary Society has shown its utmost commitment to the promotion of our national language, and to our culture, history, writers, poets and folk tales that form an integral part of who we are.
The students made a magnificent attempt to capture the intensity of Heer ranjha's and Umer Marvi's failed romance. The audience applauded, enjoyed and was very appreciative of the performances. Such encouragement can easily pave the way for more such performances to be held in the future.
Esteemed guest at the event was Shahzad Malik, an actor of popular drama serials and manager of Sindh bank Nazimabad branch. He seemed to have taken utter delight in watching the re-enactment of the plays with such enthusiasm and perfection. During his address to IBA Students, Mr. Shahzad said that with all the frustration and stress that has engulfed the youth of today, it is significant for the elders to encourage and train the youth to take part in extracurricular activities that will broaden their horizons and give them exposure to the diversity of life. His words were intended to inspire the audience and encourage participation of youth in literature.
