Community Welfare Society

ABOUT CWS:
CWS was formed for the sole purpose of "Making this world a better place to live in!”. The Community Welfare Society tries to bridge the apparent social gap in society through conducting various activities, in effort to uplift the marginalized communities and shed light upon the overlooked segments of the society. IBA's Community Welfare Society provides an opportunity to the more privileged members within its community to use their empathy for material service and become a tool for change. The society does not only provide its services internally but also expands its work into the slums of Karachi and areas of Interior Sindh.

Mission:
Our primary focus has been and will always be our people; we will always continue working for them and striving to make this world a better place

VISION:
The IBA Community Welfare Society envisions creating a spark for sustainable change in the society. We have a team of dedicated individuals working in multiple fields such as: healthcare, education, and community.

OBJECTIVES:
We live in a society where there is considerable disparity in living standards - people are deprived of the basic necessities i.e. food, water, and shelter. CWS aims to bridge the socio-economic gap and help people through its projects.

Community:
The community welfare society has a vast mandate. We strive to uplift the ignored members of our community. The goal is to design sustainable projects that will help ease the everyday lives of the less fortunate.

Education:
In Pakistan, 22.8 million school going aged children are currently deprived of education due to lack of access and affordability. The Community Welfare Society would like to play its part to make the situation better.

Health
The state of Pakistan's healthcare system is currently really poor with millions of people deprived of the basic healthcare facilities. Pakistan is ranked 122nd out of 190 countries in World Health Organization performance report. The community welfare society aims to serve where the government and other institutions have failed
