Students wishing to study Finance MSc and FinTech MSc can choose to upgrade their programme to include a Year in Industry — giving you the chance to gain real, paid professional experience alongside your degree.

How the programme works
- Year 1: Study + individualised employability preparation
- Year 2: Full-time, paid industry placement (minimum 35 weeks)
Tailored support will include:
- Six sector-specific employability workshops
- Unlimited one-to-one coaching
- Dedicated placement support staff
- Access to employer introductions and networks
- Bi-monthly welfare and progress check-ins with our placement partner
- Students will be fully supported throughout, helping them build the skills, confidence, and experience to compete for early-career roles.
