Tuition includes:
- Enrolment fee of €80 (see Institutional Information Sheet for details of benefits)
- Up to 36 semester credits for coursework, including Italian language courses
The fee does not include:
- Didactic materials — average cost per semester is €150
- Meals, students have a discount on meals offered at University cafeterias, €7.70 per full course meal, €5 for special lunch rate of I course + I side, or €4.50 for pizza.
- Housing — average cost is € 4500 - 5000 per semester for shared bedroom apartment

Full semester: 30 ECTS credits + 6 credits Italian language course (optional - all levels available)

Important points for interested students:
- Must have completed at least two regular semesters with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
- Make sure to determine the associated costs before applying.
- Selected students are expected to bear IBA semester fee as well as the tuition fee of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and all the other expenses including accommodation, airfare, visa and travel insurance expenses, local commutation, books, and stationery, etc. during the exchange period.
- It is mandatory for students who want to travel abroad to have medical insurance.
- Must have valid passport (at least 2 years valid).
- Shortlisted students must make sure to get approval before selecting courses at the host university from the focal university of each school/program. OISE will connect them after nomination on the email.
- OISE gives the nomination offer to students after the interviews if they get shortlisted. Once you accept the offer, then you are bound to follow the procedure and avail the opportunity. If you back out at the last minute, then a letter would be issued by OISE stating that student accepted the offer and then didn't go for the Semester Exchange Program. This letter will be placed in your file for the record.
- Shortlisted students are not allowed to negotiate any financial assistance requirement with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
- Students availing the IBA financial aid and National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) scholarship, or any other scholarship must get the availability of their finances checked from their donors to avoid any problems regarding the finances.
Note: If all credits hours studied at the other university are not transferred into the final transcript of the IBA Karachi due to the academic policies, then it may take some more time to complete the degree and it may increase the duration of your studies at the IBA Karachi. This must be communicated with the donors of the scholarship and/or NTHP team before applying for the program.
Note: After completing the Study Abroad Program, only credits will be considered for the semester at the IBA and NOT the GRADES earned during the program.
